How does it work?

For localized fat, the professional may choose substances intended to act on the fatty tissue in the selected area. For skin laxity, the goal is different: other substances may be considered for skin quality and stimulation of components such as collagen and elastin. Suitability depends on the assessment and the product’s composition.

The pen administers the product by pressure, without a needle. Many people find that a more comfortable option. Before treatment, we discuss your goals, the product to be used and realistic expectations.

How may the skin look afterwards?

Redness, also called erythema, sensitivity, mild swelling and sometimes a small bruise may occur. The intensity and recovery time vary with the skin, product and technique.

Sensitive skin should be protected from the sun. Local inflammation can stimulate pigment production, and sun exposure can increase the risk of dark marks. You will receive individual care instructions while the area recovers.

When is extra assessment needed?

Before treatment, tell us about allergies, medicines, health conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent procedures, and any wound or inflammation in the area. This helps us decide whether treatment is suitable and what care is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can the pen be used for both localized fat and skin laxity?

Yes, depending on the assessment. These are different goals, and the choice of substances differs too.

Does the treatment use a needle?

No. The pressure pen administers the product without a needle. The sensation and skin response vary between people.

Can I sunbathe afterwards?

Protect the treated area while it is sensitive and follow your aftercare advice. Sun exposure can increase the risk of dark marks on inflamed skin.

What is the price and how many sessions are recommended?

Pricing and a possible treatment plan are discussed after assessment, based on the area and the proposed product.
